Module 01
Introduction
Welcome to the Advanced Property System, an in depth 5-week Property Development program. At the end of this program, you will have learned everything there is to know about what a property developer does and how to put together a basic development project from scratch.
You will also be learning how to apply development skills in a practical way by running your very own demo project.
Before we start, I would like to give you a little background on my own personal story, and why I personally believe in property development.
Personal Background
My name is Justus, and I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I studied architecture, both locally and abroad, and hold a master’s degree in architecture from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. I have practiced as an architect at some of the largest practices in South Africa, and during this time I realised the income earning potential of real estate and discovered my passion for helping clients realise their property dreams. I have since founded my company, Ruim, which has been responsible for large, commercial projects like The Firestation in Rosebank, Johannesburg (project value R287million).
It was during this time that I started assembling development expertise into templates, which were used to train our in-house development team.
Using Templates
These templates and lessons grew into a series of development programs, which have helped dozens of people like yourself learn invaluable property skills. In this program, we have packaged some of our best learnings and templates to share with you. We passionately believe that this knowledge will help you to go on to unlock your own projects into the future.
